Open Gym Rules and Regulations

NOTICE
· Each player and/or parent/guardian must present picture ID and sign in at the table (this can include a school issued ID).
· Player must leave ID while playing if age13 or above.
· Each player and/or parent/guardian must sign a waiver to be eligible to play. If under the age of 18, a parent/guardian age 18 or above must sign for the minor.
· Children 12 and under must be supervised at all times.
· PARD1 will have a Zero Tolerance Policy. The following are NOT PERMITTED and will result in immediate suspension and/or banning from the gym. They may also result in criminal charges being filed.
* Bullying, fighting, or intentionally injuring another participant
* Stealing, Property damage, gambling, and/or vandalism to property
* Verbal and/or emotional abuse such as foul or disrespectful language, racial slurs, or other offensive language
* Loitering (inside or outside of the facility)
* Purchase, possession, or consumption of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs - including prescription medications not prescribed to oneself
* Being in possession of dangerous weapons, drug paraphernalia, or any PARD1 banned items
· No food or beverage containers allowed on the gym floor. Glass containers are prohibited.
· PARD1 is not responsible for any loss or stolen items. We recommend you leave your valuables at home or lock them in your car.
· When a time session has ended, PLEASE leave the floor promptly so the next scheduled time can begin.
· All equipment is to be used in the proper way. No kicking or sitting on basketballs.
· Equipment, it is to be returned to the Gym Supervisor or the sign in table.
· Dunking or hanging on the basketball rims is strictly prohibited.
· No outside basketballs or backpacks are allowed in the gym during open play.
· Good sportsmanship is expected for all activities. PARD1 reserves the right to eject anyone not following the rules of the facility.
· NO group or organization practices allowed .
· All participants must wear appropriate clothing (shorts or sweats, shirts and non-marking sneakers must be worn at all times).
· In situations where participants have minor rule infractions, discipline is handled by a Three Strike System…….
1st Offense -Warning 2nd Offense- Gym Suspension 3rd Offense- Banned from all Gym activities
The PARD1 staff on duty shall enforce all rules, regulations and procedures. If at any time a participant, parent/guardian does not comply with the rules, the person will be asked to leave, and/or his/her Recreation privileges may be revoked. It is expected for all participants to abide by the universal rules of good conduct, fair play and good sportsmanship. The PARD1 staff reserves the right to remove and suspend any patron who acts in a dangerous or threatening manner or who engages in un-tolerated behavior.
